Paterson’s Damian Gonzalez Calling Signals in South China Sea for US Navy

SOUTH CHINA SEA – Paterson’s Damian Gonzalez is serving as a Naval Aircrewman 2nd Class  in the US Navy.

Stationed on the USS Wayne E Meyer, Gonzalez is seen signaling information to pilots of an MH-60 Sea Hawk Helicopter, assigned to the “Easyriders” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 37, on the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer’s flight deck.

The USS Wayne E Meyer is currently conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
